I’ve built it, led it, sold it and lived it.
Thirty years of building service businesses, and more than twenty years of walking alongside women through every season of life and work.
My story
The short version.
I grew up in Timmins, Ontario, and started my first business in 1996. Women worked alongside me from the very beginning, and I’ve been building with women ever since.
For 25 years I was CEO and equal co-owner of 1-800-GOT-JUNK? Ottawa and Gatineau with my husband, Luc. I led the culture, the training, the hiring, the customer experience and the people. We built a business known for how it treated its team and its customers, and we sold it in November 2025.
From 2010 to 2020 I also built and ran Moving Forward Matters, a home-transition business that helped women and families through difficult moves. I sold it to my manager.
In 2002 I started Women on the Move, which became Women Moving Forward and then Women Living Fully, a community of more than 1,000 women that’s still going today. And along the way I wrote four books.

Why now
Why I’m doing this work now.
After the sale, I took time to rest and reflect. What I missed most wasn’t the business. It was the people: watching someone grow, working through a hard problem together, seeing what’s possible before they can see it themselves.
So that’s what I do now, privately, with a very small number of women who have already built something real and are asking what comes next.
I live on 44 acres outside Ottawa with Luc. It’s where I walk, think and do my best planning.
