From the outside, it all looks like it’s working. And it is.

Why work with me
I’ve sat in your chair.
For 25 years I was CEO and equal co-owner of 1-800-GOT-JUNK? Ottawa and Gatineau, building it with my husband into a business known for its culture, its people and its service. We sold it in November 2025. Alongside it, from 2010 to 2020, I built and ran Moving Forward Matters, a home-transition business, and sold that too.
I’ve hired and let people go, read the P&L at midnight, built a team that outlasted me, and walked through the sale of a business I loved. I know what it is to carry all of it.
I also bring training in psychology, NLP, bereavement and palliative care. That’s the part most business advisors don’t have. I hold the operational and the human side at the same time, because your business and your life were never separate.
